Top Five Most Overpowered Heroes This Season

According to BD Cricket Match analysts, five days into the latest season of Honor of Kings, many players have already discovered which heroes are their go-to picks for climbing the ranks. Of course, not everyone is finding success—some are stuck in losing streaks, unsure of which champions can lead them to victory. But this new season has clearly defined some standout meta heroes dominating across all tiers of play.

First on the list is Da Qiao, who was buffed at the end of last season. As a representative of the “mutant” class, Da Qiao currently dominates the support rankings across all divisions. What’s more surprising is the rise of mid-lane Da Qiao, especially in the specialized build. She can teleport low-health teammates home instantly and rally the team for advantageous engagements, making her incredibly mobile and tactically versatile. Her burst damage is shockingly high, and her built-in invincibility mechanic only adds to her lethality.

Next up is Zhao Yun, now considered a T0-tier jungler in nearly every rank. After his “mutation” rework, Zhao Yun has emerged as one of the most balanced yet lethal jungle picks. The lower his health, the higher his damage resistance becomes. Additionally, as his HP falls to certain thresholds, his attack range and damage spike dramatically. This makes him a nightmare in skirmishes and teamfights alike.

However, despite Zhao Yun’s dominance, BD Cricket Match reports that Yun Zhong Jun has quietly surpassed him in win rate. Post level 4, Yun Zhong Jun can ignore terrain entirely, phasing through obstacles and walls. His ultimate launches enemies into the air and slams them down for massive damage. His passive can stack five times and shred through health bars in seconds. With an ability to increase attack speed and range, plus reduced cooldowns, Yun Zhong Jun thrives in fast-paced, high-mobility skirmishes.

On the solo lane, Ji Xiao Man, known as a “Trisolarian” hero, remains a top-tier T0 pick. Her explosive burst damage and extreme agility make her nearly unbeatable in 1v1 lane duels. When played correctly, she can dive the backline in teamfights with ease—often deleting enemy carries in a flash. Her combo rotation is clean and devastating, especially when she strikes from unexpected angles.

Finally, Haino has risen to the top of the mage rankings this season. Tanky lane-build Haino is particularly effective—easy to pilot, brutally effective. In close-quarters combat, Haino gains additional resistances and can heal significantly by attacking marked targets. He can soak up absurd amounts of damage, setting the stage for his teammates to deal massive follow-up damage.

Given their current win rates and overall dominance, BD Cricket Match expects Haino and Yun Zhong Jun to be prime candidates for nerfs in the next balance patch. Their high durability combined with overwhelming damage has started to break the balance of the game, and unless adjustments are made, they’ll continue to define the meta this season.
